3...2...1...PARTY!!

The dude had his 3rd birthday party, and I wanted to display everything that he loved...rockets, sprinkles, lollies, and cars!  He had a blast and the sugar high lasted well into the next day...what else could a 3 year old ask for?

The sprinkle covered marshmallows were a hit!  just dipped xtra large marshmallows (purchased at walmart) in white chocolate and sprinkle nonparels and jimmies on top, stick a stick in them and you're done!  Lots of color for the table at little to no effort...

The goodie 'rockets' were white party cups purchased at party city with craft paper tops and wings.  I used star stickers from the dollar store and pasted on some printed out threes to stick with the birthday theme.  (I guess the theme was there is no theme ;).)

I hand made his t-shirt by printing out a design, tracing it onto wax paper, cutting out the wax paper for a template, then using fabric paint.  Turned out pretty good and has held up very nicely.  You can find tutorials online pretty easily on the process.

i swear he said doctor...but first he said garbage TRUCK!

This cake was soooo easy.  Two bunt pans, cut accodingly to make a 3 (take your time with the cutting, and don't cut too much, or you'll be pasting on more cake!), chocolate frosting for the glue, and color coded m&ms (sorting the m&ms took the longest).

every birthday boy needs some lightening bolt kicks!
